1/2 cups Barley flour (Bob's Redmill) 1/4 cup wheat germ 2 teasp. Aluminum free baking powder 2/3 cup unsweetened organic apple sauce 1/3 cup cold pressed extra virgin olive oil 2 eggs 2 TBS non fat organic yogurt 1 cup mashed ripe banana 1/4 cup nuts And add other misc. Items such as veggies, you can even use less nuts Stir together flour, wheat germ, In mixer bowl beat applesauce, olive oil. Add eggs one at a time Beating after each one, mix in yogurt. Add flour mixture and banana Alternately, beat smooth. Stir in nuts, chopped kale, carrots or Whatever else you want to try. Sprouts might be fun to add. Put batter into a lightly greased 8x4x2" pan and bake at 350* F for 65 Minutes or until wooden pick inserted near the middle comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then remove to cooling rack.
